IGEL Integrates Asset Management into its Standard Desktop Management Software
Cincinnati, OH, February 22, 2010 – Thin client manufacturer IGEL Technology today announced the addition of an Asset Management solution to its Universal Management Suite (UMS) software. The solution allows system administrators to automatically scan for and discover all hardware information, licensed features and installed hot fixes and then to efficiently manage them. The latest IGEL Universal Management Suite also includes a time-saving firmware update tool and a support wizard.

Integration of IGEL Software Client for VMware View™ 4 with PCoIP® Significantly Increases Performance and Energy Savings
New Software Client is Now Available for all IGEL Universal Desktops with Linux and Microsoft® Windows Embedded Standard
Cincinnati, OH, January 5th, 2010 – IGEL Technology, the world's largest Linux thin client vendor and the third largest thin client vendor (2008 by revenue, IDC), today announced that all of its Universal Desktop thin clients running Linux and Windows® Embedded Standard will be equipped with the new software client for VMware View™ 4, which includes support for the PCoIP® display protocol. The new IGEL solution can increase performance and improves the end-user experience in virtual desktop environments to such a high degree that workstation users, from clerks and managers to specialized designers, may no longer perceive a difference between virtual and physical desktops.
