At IGEL, we know that the key to growth is in a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) for our team to help to turn leads into qualified opportunities while partnering with marketing and field sales to create and execute lead generation campaigns. As the first line of communication with prospects, you have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching companies and connecting with key decision makers, converting leads into opportunities, starting and developing new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You are a quick learner with strong communication skills and with the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for IGEL to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

This position requires regular outbound phone calling, qualification, consultative selling and tight collaboration with field sales to generate new opportunities.

The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically. The SDR will be expected to report on qualification and call activity and stay thoroughly informed on all products and the Virtualization industry in general.

Verantwortlichkeiten

  • Develop opportunities for the Account Executives from prospecting and marketing generated leads
  • Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
  • Interact with prospects and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential business opportunities in the market
  • Promoting and marketing IGEL’s business through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails, and other communication(s) tools to prospective clients
  • Create target prospects lists, penetrate key accounts, identify, and contact key players
  • Profile strategic accounts, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
  • Set up meetings and/or calls between (prospective) customers and our sales executives
  • Diligently update data into the CRM, stay on top of your leads, follow-up and report

Qualifikationen

  • 3-4 years of proven work experience in a similar role, business development or sales
  • Experience in the Virtualization (VDI) industry would be a strong plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities; empathic listener and persuasive speaker
  • Must be a self-starter, curious, analytical, detailed-oriented, resilient, a hunting character, and have the proven ability to perform in a fast-moving environment with minimal supervision
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and a strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
  • Must live and breathe startups with broad responsibilities, crazy busy, embrace our team spirit, lots of responsibility and lots of fun
  • Languages: professional working proficiency in English, German and French are a must
