We sat down with Jim Luna, Global Head of Business Development – Cloud and Technology Alliances, at Nutanix, to learn more about what attendees can expect to see and learn from the company at IGEL Now & Next 2025 in Frankfurt.

Could you tell us about your company and how you partner with IGEL?

What are some of the key trends that are impacting your partners and customers in 2025, and how is your organization solving these?

Jim Luna: We’re seeing increased focus on cybersecurity, the transition to Windows 11, and the rise of AI and machine learning. Nutanix and IGEL are addressing these trends by implementing zero-trust architectures, enhancing threat detection, and improving endpoint security. We’re also helping customers navigate ransomware threats, data privacy concerns, and IoT device management—all while supporting secure migration to Windows 11.

What is one thing you plan to do/accomplish either personally or professionally in the next three to six months?

Jim Luna: As the EUC market evolves—with PE acquisitions, emerging alternatives, and new adjacent solutions like CloudPC and browser-based offerings—we’re focused on staying ahead of the curve. Our goal is to deepen our understanding of these shifts and continue developing relevant solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
