Together with 100+ partners such as Citrix, VMWare, Microsoft or Amazon, we enable a wide range of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Desktop as a Service applications. In doing so, we exploit the full power of the endpoints and offer our customers a secure platform.

The Solutions Architect is part of IGEL Global Advanced Services team and operates as a highly-skilled technical and business resource. The Solutions Architect will provide best practice consultation on IGEL solutions including system architecture, workflow diagrams, third party system integration, and solution implementation and deployment.

A strong desire to learn and a “can do” attitude is needed. You will be working with an experienced, motivated team willing to share their knowledge and experience to help you expand your skillset and succeed in reaching your goals.

Verantwortlichkeiten

  • Install, configure and optimize the IGEL OS Solutions
  • Use of remote tools to assist customers; troubleshoot and debug Citrix, VMware, Amazon Workspaced and RDS sessions on the IGEL OS
  • Provide technical best practices for partners and customers; build and maintain customer and partner rapport; ensure clear, professional communication between our teams and the customer
  • Maintain knowledge of technology trends by attending trainings and reviewing current technical publications
  • Focus of work is the DACH region and support in international projects

Qualifikationen

  • Several years of professional experience in consulting
  • Experience with Terminal Services, Windows Virtual Desktop, Citrix, VMWare Horizon
  • Good knowledge of network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
  • Advanced Linux knowledge
  • Communicative, flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Independent, responsible and structured way of working
  • You enjoy working in a global team of experts from all areas of server-based computing and virtualization
